BEC Mc Carthy out Coates in

Josh Gotts posted his bike photo on FB this morning : ”Bikes looking the muts nuts! Ready for the first BEC this weekend! Thanks to the boys at amped! 💥🔥👌”

Ian Coates , yes , that’s David’s brother has taken over the British championship RD-1 entry from Paul MC Carthy following the injury to Paul’s knee and subsequent operation . Entered in the Expert E2 class Ian is borrowing a 250 TM from Josh Gotts as he does not have an Enduro bike and has never ridden an Enduro ! He is however a handy and fit mtb rider and fairly good on a MX bike as well . As we know he will be the only MCI representative . Given time to settle in on the event and bike he could run well . There is no complete entry list available so if is possible there may be one or two mra entrants .
Currently the bec is enjoying a resurgence of world class riders , young dedicated and talented . Six or seven to world standard with little to choose between them . The Knighter may still be there or there snouts but unlikely to sit on top . Held in and around Hensley in  Yorkshire it is a true Enduro test .
Ian will be a tired boy !

Torc hare and hound

Moved to the 13th match and to MT.  Leinster following problems with the forest access in Cahir the event will run to s similar track used successfully 2 years ago and will be as open as possible given restrictions by fallen trees . The start may move further up the forest to see double traffic on the route .
Regulations and entry forms will be posted by Torc shortly .
