Thanks to all helpers, riders, landowner, medical crew for their attendance and participation for our Long cross at Sandy valley on Sunday. A particular thanks to Digger man Jimmy Jones and Robbie Lawson and co, unsung helpers.
The club listened to the riders opinions from last year changing the format from 3 races to 2 longer legs to even out the Enduro/ MX riders …… we hope it works. Being the second race of the season and on a track that if not difficult is physical riders will be tired with the longer duration all be it on a track that became easier as the day went on. We hope it was enjoyable ….. there were plenty of friendly rivalries, a big race at the front, the odd crash but no major injuries.
