Enduro.ie has been informed that it may be all change for the upcoming Mt. Leinster enduro, round two of the Irish Enduro Championship on June 12th. Having pounded out the same trail for many a year, organisers Nick Craigie and Ciaran Hayes are now considering running one single check followed by a long special test that will be run as a separate check, presumably on the paddock side of the mountain.
Nick Craigie “At the moment the land available to use on the mountain located close to the paddock is relatively small in area. In order to change things up a little we’re planning on turning this check into a special test. This option will allow us to run a greater number of test time which should add to a more competitive and enjoyable event for all. This decision is not yet set in stone but we hope to a final verdict made in the coming days!”
…. Stay tuned for more details on that then!!
