“ Madness” is how the Spanish Gas Gas manufacture viewed their orange counterparts launch of 2012 models in May 2011 and like the Italians will officially launch their new bikes at the EICMA world show in October . Both will probably have models available before then but we have a fair idea of what will be presented . 2012 will also see TM launch their new electronic power valve system on the little screamer the 2-stroke 125cc. Is this the first step on the Italians road to electronically fuel injected two-smokers?? …. we like to think so!
TM
The only European manufacturer to develop a full aluminium chassis in 2009 has again turned its attention to the engine department for 2012.
125 EN
An all new engine with EPV (Electronic power valve) . Very compact and light . The EPV will deliver a significant increase in low down torque and mid range without depleting the top end . The little 125 just got better.

This bike will have a modified head / crank but will continue with the standard power valve system . This works on the 144 which inherently has more torque than the 125 .
250 EN/300EN
Modified head, barrel, piston and crank. Smooth engines but with good power and torque. The MX engines will have different cylinders.
