The TM Racing factory has announced its list of riders for the 2012 Enduro World Champion season. TM Racing Enduro Team manager, Luca Cherubini, has confirmed that the 2012 EWC team will consist of 3 riders split over the E1, E3 and EJ classes competing on a three different class machines from the TM Racing range.
In the highly competitive E1 class will be Finnish star Antti Hellsten who will compete on the TM 250Fi 4-Stroke machine. Team manager, Luca, is hoping that the latest addition to the TM Racing team will show the form he found at the start of the 2011 season and deliver some solid results. The 22 year old Finn is being held in high regard in the World Enduro community and is currently being labelled as a possible successor to Enduro legends Mika Ahola, who has just announced his retirement from compeition, and Juha Salminen.
In the ‘big’ capacity E3 class long time TM campaigner and former Motocross Grand Prix entrant, Aigar Leok, will switch from the 450cc 4-Stroke machines, which he has competed on now for over 4 years in both MX and Enduro, and start his 2012 EWC challenge on a 300cc 2-stroke machine. Slowly finding his feet after changing disciplines in 2011 the young Estonian is now beginning to shine a little more in Enduro and shows promise of some good results in 2012.
In the Junior class is 20 year old Nicolo Mori. Nicolo will contest the 2012 Junior Class on TM 450 4-Stroke machine and the young Italian is keen to impress. Nicolo took his national championship title in 2009 in the 125cc class and last season finished 5th overall in the 450cc class showing that his talent and large stature is making his adaptation to the larger machinery just that little bit easier.
The first round of the 2012 series will take place in Chile on the 24th and 25th of March.
