Electraction TM’s Jordan Rose confirmed for Fastlane MCC’s two-day longcross series in Doon on August 11/12…
As entries continue to flow in, Enduro World Championship competitor and current British Sprint Enduro Champion, Jordan Rose has confirmed his participation in the event. Rose, who injured his wrist at the recent GP of Italy in June, will use this race as his first comeback from injury as he begins preparations to represent Great Britain at the ISDE in Germany next September.
“I’m looking forward to getting back in the saddle,” confirmed Rose. “My wrist is now healed and although I’m not yet at 100 per cent, I’m excited to use this non-pressure race as an opportunity to regain some race fitness.”
Adding to the line up in Doon, Rose will be joined by his teammate Gordon Clarke, British rider Robert Johnson (MPS Husqvarna) and the Italian pairing of Andrea Bassi and Jacobi Cherruti. Johnson, who has returned from two successful weekends of competition in the European Enduro Championship will be keen to use this momentum to challenge the Electraction TM duo for top honours.
With a sprint style race planned for Saturday evening and then two one hour 20 minute cross-country styled races that will utilise all surrounding fields, forestry and farmland, the two-day event is expected to be a fun-filled weekend for all.
With entries for the event beginning to fill up quite fast, organisers urge those intending on competing to enter early.
Also on available on Saturday evening will be a BBQ (spit roast pig) at a cost of €10 per person, for those feeling hungry.
