As a final run for the 2012 season , Fastlane MCC ( subject to weather/ land) conditions will host a Team Sprint event on the 18 TH November .
Following a similar format to the previous Sprint event but will a longer planned lap, the result will be the total combined time for the two ream riders. There are no grade restrictions to any team.
Time and light permitting the club plan to run 7 / 8 laps starting at 10.00 sharp.
There will be great prizes.
Team numbers will be limited and we need to populate the computer for live timing so please if you want to enter please do so in time.
Note :
Perfect conditions at doon a week early yes but despite weeks of rain land conditions at doon were perfect following inspection and track layout. Good news so unless we get a week’s downpour it looks positive for next Sundays team sprint.
On another positive note we have agreed a one day licence fee of 10 euro with a self medical which is free and available on the day but you still need to preregister for timing.
We have laid out a very flowing and wide track with no off chambers or climbs of approximately 8 minutes . We hope to run 8 sprint laps.
