Good day for Gordon . Nick perservates to complete another incredibly hard day .Thursdays stage of 220k was very difficult and physically punishing . So No one thought that Fridays 230 km stage could be any moredifficult but it was . Criss crossing the highest points of both the Chebi erg and erg Rasini the riders spent a total of 60 k on the dunes physically torture except for the best riders .Gordon continues to grow in confidenceAnd had adapted quickly to the navagatipn . A very impressive 16 place finish today less than 1 hour behind the winner was a notable achievement .Nicks final place is not available as yet but he endured a very hard day to reach the p ferme acting as fuel carrier for 2 fellow competitors who ran out . On a very positive note nick tapped every navagatipn point today even in theheighest dunes to record a zero penalty day . The organiser puts the wp on top of the biggest dunes !
