Team CCR will be running the Suzuki brand for 2014. After their first season came to a halt at Foxhills CCR have had time to sit down and prepare for 2014. CCR will run Suzuki RMZ 450 and RMZ 250 in the British and red bull pro’s with the Support of Suzuki GB.
Stuart Edmonds will spear head the team again in 2014 in the MX1 class and new rider Jordan Dunne, a young Irish rider from cork who will ride the Red bull Rookie class and the Irish MX2.
Stuart “ I am delighted to re-sign with CCR for 2014 and be back on the RMZ-450 Suzuki. After riding the Suzuki in 2012 it was a bike I felt comfortable with and showed that with a 2nd overall in the Red Bull Pro Nationals. This year I proved I can run at the top of the field and being able to sort things out early for 2014 is great for me and the team. I have been working hard on getting back to fitness and I know we will be pushing for the top spots. I have a god group of sponsors, friends and family supporting me so I look forward to getting going”
Jordan “I’m delighted to be on board with CCR Suzuki for 2014 I’ve spent the past two years riding a 125 and I’m looking forward to making the move to the 250 , I feel really confident for next season and I feel at home with all the people around me at the moment so hopefully 2014 will bring good things for me and il be gunning for some top finishes both here and in the UK”
Andrew Byrne Team owner “I am delighted to have Stuart on board again, he proved on the TM he can run in the top 5 and that is what we will be aiming for this year in both the British and Red Bull Pro Nationals. We are running a MX2 rider this year also with 17 year old Jordan Dunne taking the spot. I am looking forward to see what he can do this year.”
Gavin Craigie Team Manager/ CCMRACING.COM “We have supported Stuart for years and I think the switch to Suzuki will be easy for him. We are looking forward to getting all our plans done early this year so we are not playing catch up like last year and aiming for top finishes from Stuart and our new MX2 rider Jordan who we welcome to the team”
