This weekend saw the TM UK supported riders in action once again and at the first round of the newly formed MX Nationals Championship, held at Culham Moto Park, it was the debut outing for Keenan and Kacey Hird on their Craigs Motorcycles supported TM 85cc big wheel and small wheel machines respectively.
In the big wheel group Keenan took his first race of the season by the scruff of the neck and went from hole-shot to chequered flag to take a convincing win, with a pair of 4th place finishes and then finally a 9th in the last moto after some setbacks Keenan ended the weekend with 5th overall, well done. In the small wheel group young Kacey ended his 4 races with a mix of second and third place finishes to end the weekend with 2nd overall, a great start to the season boys, well done.
At round one of the 2014 SSMXC Championship, held at Little Silver, youngster Archie Hicks on his TM 85cc Big Wheel machine had a day of thrills and spills, which saw Archie picking himself of the floor in race one to recover to a top ten finish, however two solid rides in the last two races upped the points tally for Archie and with a very close battle at the top of the leaderboard on points Archie ended the day with 5th overall. Well done Arch.
Also congratulations to Luke Williams on his 125cc TM machine, also competing at Little Silver, who took 3 wins in the 125cc class and backed this up by taking three 2nd place finishes in the 250cc class too !. Good rides Luke.
