A number of fantastic firsts for the Fastlane MCC ‘’Winter series’’

3. Greg Lynch has become a “B “rider
It started well and ended well after 2 races, one on a reversed track. It worked.
In the Experts Richard Murphy (HUS B) was to record his first race victory in race 1 followed by a 3 Rd in race 2 after a battle with Niall Staplaton (HVA). Robert Regan (KTM) was to fly off the start and lead until an errant bug found its way into the main jet putting him out of contention bit to come back in race 2 to win; Ian Kelly (YAM) on a 250 was flying until the ground came up to meet him too many times and Richie Leonard (KX) was mixing it up on his new KX . Great racing.
Despite signing into the B class, local boys Greg Lynch (HON) and Damien Kelly (HON) set the race alight with Greg leading the entire race all the way in race 1 when Robert pulled out and kept it ahead of a fast charging Kelly to the flag. In race 2 the two boys had a proper ding dong with Kelly eventually passing Lynch only to stall a lap later to be repassed before the flag. TOM Regan came next and Davey Mulligan pulled back to third in race 2 following a puncture in Race 1.
John Dunne also won his first race in Clubman Race 1 followed closely by Jack Sheehan, Paul Rowan
And Adam Billings. Dunne was to drop places in race 2 leaving Sheehan, Billings and Rowan to take the flag and overall place on the day.
