In Memory of Pat McErlane

For those of you who knew our founder member and tireless Club worker, Pat McErlane who passed away on Monday morning last. There is a Cermony to mark his passing on Thursday next at 2 pm in Mt Jerome with Cremation afterwards.

Pat has been involved in all the Wicklow based events for the last 30 years in one way or another. You would not see him to the forefront, he worked away quietly and ever so politly in the background. You could always depend on Pat when their were gullies to be cleared or paths to be cut out. Pat and the Dog were always there, smileing and slagging. Loved by everyone who came into contact with him and feared by all who crossed him. No matter how origional an idea you tought you had Pat was there to tell you “We ran the test trough there before, in 1986, I think it was” !!
