We have to be unlucky ….
It rained again last night and later in the day another thunderstorm forced us to take shelter .
After yesterday’s lightening strike Doug was not keen to risk another crack !
Today we went down the valleys , not over them which made for an easier ride but we still had huge climbs followed by the inevitable drops . What goes up ……. We climbed to 3500 m almost vertical , way above Ireland’s highest mountain and you would know it . Coming down was challenging given that in the wet any throttle position above tick over had the arse end passing out the front and we spent some time on the former ! Jason is good at it .
Another long if enjoyable day .
Comment :
The elevation is huge , no fences and a massive area to ride . Friendly people and very adequate accommodation .
Dougie knows the vast mountains and tracks exceptionally well ( despite getting lost yesterday) and tailors the ride to the level of the pack . You follow or decide the level and time . Doug will go all day and then some ! He is very good and fun to be with
Cannot think of anywhere else you can go and ride at a very reasonable cost with the best guide possible ….. . Very good thanks Eoin and all.

You got it right Nick. No fences it’s amazing just ride straight through people’s gardens and no problems they just wave. Romania should be a must do for all Enduro heads.
