The Enduro GP arrived in Gordexola northern Spain … To be more exact here in the Basque Country where a Spanish flag is not seen and the anthem not heard .
Does not take from the atmosphere with the paddock in the town centre and a huge crowd at the super test . The Spanish ( sorry basques) are into their bikes and are attracted by a test right in the town centre .
Such tests are great for spectators but never easy and this was no exception, very technical .
It has been said that world Enduro now suits the MX riders, but that is not the case and there are few former MX riders at the front . Barragan , Guarneri , are both ex front GP runners but so far have not cut it at Enduro . The ever smiling Nathan Watson is the young Brit to had made the jump . Son of five times Weston winner Rob Meek ( figure that one) he obviously had an Enduro streak in the gens . He will make the grade . Salvini is another but he is like Knighter , muscling the bike around as against riding it . Mean to watch . The bars are alive and the town humming .
Bring it on .
