Relaxed
Not south of Spain or Morocco dust but it is bad enough …. The trails are dry and it makes for difficult conditions not because it is hard but if you have never ridden in severe dust it is trying and dangerous . Paul of the three needs not to fall off as his knee is far from healed but fall off he did , twice in the dust and looked at the ditch from the wrong end .. His knee is forgotten about as the rest is battered and bruised .

” need a beer to wash all that dust away and maybe a second one for good measure to keep me going tomorrow ” John l is relaxed but lost 2 minutes at the pre check changing a moose at the last minute . The heat is taking its toll on the Mooses .

The route tomorrow is the same and there may be some rain around … The latter will be good to keep the old dust down bit too much will leave it difficult .
The boys are camped up in a small hotel some 2 miles from the start , there are 55o riders so space is at. A premium and theft of stuff and bikes is a problem .
