Sometimes it’s difficult to work things out. The Glendalough enduro , now based in Aughavanna is an excellent event laid out over forest and mountain terrain . New going for 17 and an enjoyable flowing track and test. Nothing else needed, however the entry whilst good on quality was disappointing in numbers considering the levels so far seen this season. Disappointing for the club, the COC and sponsors. Reasoning why is a? Those who missed the event missed a good one and thanks to COC Alan, his band of overworked helpers (Dave C and Co.) and to sponsor Inchaquire.
That said, there were a host of new class winners so well done to them all ….. Mervyn Griffin has finally nailed the top spot in Experts, John MC Cann the seniors (following last season’s clubman wins), Keith Browne the clubman and Darryl Kenny the sportsman. Great to see new riders at the top. Rock on to better things.
