Mayo may not have brought Sam home however it is definitely top dog when it comes to Mothball routing.
Based at a secret location somewhere between Newport and Kilala 22 hardy souls braved the 270 km run to include bog, forest, fire roads and them roads with grass in the middle . You know the sort 🙈, definitely adding to the enjoyment . A road route for those who did not fancy a spot of bog hopping, there were a few. Held under the reformed IMCC club, planned and routed by Allan it was an event to be enjoyed by day and well only the night or following morning for some ( Fermanagh Brian ! )
