No forest tests… that’s the good news for the riders. The organisers used only grass tests for the last 2 days avoiding the rut busting, dust choking forest tests. Better!
It was greasy on grass this morning if a lot easier.
Jordan had a slow start picking up the pace in the afternoon to record another outstanding performance to 6th but dropping one overall to 7th .
Barry was back on the pace following a slight hick up yesterday. Dave Mc Nulty and Harold continue at a steady pace, Rob , Chris , big Phil also all clean . Patrick lost some 20 minutes … not sure of reason as of now. Mick O’Leary also ran clean had a much better day in the going and tests.
Honorary Irish mc Connell proved he can still ride a pace when free of the Backmsrkers.
Backmarkers finishing 2nd ahead of Jordan in 4th.
Thursday is normally the toughest day, not on the going but on the body, once completed mentally it’s downhill to the end. One day to ride and one MX (fun) on Saturday. Now only a mechanical will stop you.
France continues to smoke the trophy competition. It’s almost embarrassing how far in front they are … for definite only a mechanical can stop them. They also lead the junior but with a much smaller margin to play with.
We need all our riders to complete tomorrow for the home run on Saturday.
