Miles of smiles at Ballyvourney

Coffee Time !

A tradition for March the West Cork based Rallye never fails to throw up some fantastic riding, a few surprises and great hospitality. Excellently organised by Don, Luke and the team it has become one of the cornerstone Rallye events every year. There were the usual hardcore riders who braved a 330 km run on Friday down to W. Cork, not a car or traffic light to be seen as it snaked its way from Laragh to Enniscorthy, Clonmel to Cahir, Mallow, and Mill Street dropping over the mountains to the Cork Brandon road. Sunday reversed much of that route dodging the hail storms. Mr Fermanagh Brian braved the solo ride from Enniskillen and back. In between Saturday bright and sunny a 180 km run of very mixed going … tracks, bog, river crossings (deep), side roads and the drop down to priests’ hill. That halted some most eventually dropping down both on and off the bike. Another fantastic event. We wish al well following his argument with the road. Thanks to all.
