Spotted at the Paddock…
EWC Portugal -The Enduro world championship continues on dispite the withdrawal of the two biggest teams … KTM and Husky as factory backed squads . It’s the same only with a reduced presence in the paddock and possibly a few newer names nearer the top of the lists . That said , all the previous years winners are still here with none contracted to the big two who have moved to the red bull supported wess series . The premise being we are told that the extreme , Romania’s , etc attracts a bigger following .So far the EWC 2018 has seen the Finnish snow event, very different and by all accounts a relatively poor Spanish round . Spain used to be one of the best events with Spanish riders to the fore, for whatever reason both standards have slipped considerably. Portugal looks good , the organisers have put in a huge effort with the tests … 4 in all . A flood lit super will start proceedings.
