As we already reported Wicklow was subject to a deluge of rain so the club took the decision to move the event to Doon – Offaly where condition proved to be perfect. Just enough rain to keep the ground moist not enough to make it slippery . The clubs thanks to Robbie and Finton who moved all the gear and truck from Blessington to Doon at the last minute. The club thanks also to all riders who participated and for leaving the paddock in a rubbish free condition, that makes a huge difference and while is correct it is appreciated.
A 12 minute lap, mixed with fast flowing grasstrack, woods and roots, some MX track made for a good lap that may have looked easy but was physical over the 2 h 40 minutes.

Keith Clarke rode a brilliant race 1 to win with Chris Misiewicz on top in race 2. Darius Magalinski and Tom Brennan shared the spoils in the sportsman classes.
With a shortened loop for the youths Kevin Reid maintained a 100% record in the 125 / 250 class with …………in runner up spot . ………. winning the 85 event from ……..
One unfortunate accident to our David Coates took some gloss off the day and we wish David a speedy recovery.
